The Killarney Ring, which features a detailed Celtic design, is suitable as a wedding ring for men or women or as a designer ring. Its wavy knot pattern, representing flow and creativity, tapers toward the back of the ring. It is shown here with two 3mm (approximately .12 ct each) topaz and a 1 carat, 6.5mm diamond (not included), set low which is ideal if you have an active life style. We ship free within the US from our studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico, via USPS, First-Class Mail. Delivery time on packages shipped First-Class Mail is not guaranteed. Most items are received within four days. Packages valued under $500 are not insured.

Packages valued over $500 are insured and shipped either US Post or FedEx Ground. Delivery is generally within four days, depending upon the distance from New Mexico.

This design is part of Reflective Jewelry's classic Wedding and Engagement Ring collection. For those who prefer traditional styles, but don't want to sacrifice Ethics, our Creative Director, Helen Chantler, has selected a small, premier collection to offer in Fairtrade Gold.

Some of these designs were originally created in a collaborative process between our artisan team and our customers and involved repurposing diamonds, gems, and gold. We have the capacity to create just about any classic or custom Wedding Ring style using your material or ours.

Rings, bracelets, or necklace chains can be resized for free within 30 days of purchase. Simply send back the item with your receipt and a note explaining what you'd like us to alter. Here’s our shipping address.

Our Ethical Leadership:

We pioneered ethical sourcing in North America and started making jewelry with Fairtrade Gold in 2011. In April 2015, we became the first certified Fairtrade Gold jeweler in the USA.

We have attempted to work for years with Fairtrade International as a commercial liaison to create a viable commercial program that would build the movement. Because of major interests that oppose such a move (while claiming to support it), we are still the only certified Fairtrade Gold jeweler in the USA.

We have been active in these issues for over 15 years; from founding Fair Jewelry Action, the first ethical jewelry blog that evolved into a human rights and environmental justice network, to running numerous campaigns to the public and jewelry trade promoting environmental justice and human rights. Most recently we published the Ethical Jewelry Exposé and published several feature articles in Jewellery Business Magazine.

In our own bio-region, we initiated and co-led a campaign to successfully block a gold mine south of our Santa Fe home and remain active on local boards to preserve Santa Fe and surrounding regions from drilling and mining.

Gold Source:

Our two-tone, gold-over-silver pieces are made entirely with gold from a Fairtrade certified mine.

With solid gold pieces, we offer recycled gold and Fairtrade Gold. Here’s a comparison of the two. But here’s the bottom line: recycled gold has no ecological or social value. It is dirty gold rebranded as eco-friendly.

Please note: we started 2021 by trading 12 ounces of gold purchased from customers for 10 ounces of Fairtrade Gold, and we are transitioning to using Fairtrade Gold throughout our in-house manufacturing, whether customers choose the extra expense or not. Sometimes our mounts and bezels are still made with recycled gold, because they are not yet available in Fairtrade Gold.

Fairtrade offers the millions of people working in artisanal mining in developing countries the best chance to work their way out of poverty and exploitation. Fairtrade Gold is mined by small-scale miners in a safe, fair, and ecologically-responsible manner.

Comfort Fit is a descriptive term that describes the curvature of the inside surface of these rings. While many rings are flat on the interior surface, the center of a Comfort Fit interior surface is convex. That convex surface is what primarily touches the flesh of your finger. The Comfort Fit ring's outer edges are slightly wider than the center and therefore has less contact with your skin. Making it a more comfortable fit.

If you are determining your size, please use a narrow sizing band for rings 4mm and under. Use a wide sizing band for rings over 4mm. We can send you a ring sizer for free upon request. You can also determine your own size by measuring an existing ring on our ring sizing document here. Please be as accurate as possible, our rings are handmade individually as they are ordered. Our Canadian Diamonds are minimally F/G in color and SI 1 in clarity. Cut, polish and symmetry are "good" or better.
