ETHICAL SOURCES

The soul of Jewelry is in its traceability. All of our Jewelry can be traced directly to source.
Our ethical source locations.
Metals—Gold, Silver and Platinum
Valerio Jewelry is proud to be a Fairtrade Gold and associated precious metals license holder. Our FLO ID is 31379. It is foundational to the efficacy of luxury Jewelry and as a luxury brand we do not shy away from traceability on our precious metals. All our gold currently comes from Sotrami in Peru, a remote desert community mining town in the south of the country. We also use certified Fairtrade silver from the same location. For more information on the benefits of Fairtrade Gold to artisanal miners please visit Fairtrade Gold.
Diamonds
Valerio Jewelry diamonds are conflict free. Given the challenges in the diamond supply chain, we only work with vertically integrated supply chains, that guarantee mine to market traceability. This means sourcing from countries such as Canada, Australia and African countries where provenance is secure. All our diamonds conform to the international protocols of the Kimberley Process and will be accompanied with a Diamond Grading Certificate from an Independent Laboratory. Conflict free and child labour free. We will not sell a stone we do not have provenance on, that is our promise. We are more than happy to answer any questions or points of clarification on our diamond sources, so feel free to email us with any questions you may have.
Gemstones
Valerio Jewelry gemstones are always origin of denomination stones. If we don’t know the source and the people, we won’t use a gemstone in our Jewelry. The gemstone trade is the one area of the Jewelry supply chain that remains broadly untouched by ethical scrutiny and as such is the most vulnerable. Therefore we take extra care, only working with known sources and trusted communities and companies. From Greenland to Sri Lanka and Brazil our coloured gemstones represent the finest and most progressive sources in the trade. We are more than happy to answer any questions or points of clarification on our gemstone sources, so feel free to email any questions you may have to info@reflectivejewelry.com
